Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, better known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is one of the popular British film and stage actress that gained fame after she starred in"Doctor Who," (a British science-fiction TV show) series aired on the BBC channel. Gugu became famous for her role as Tish Jones. This was the character's sister. People loved Gugu's vibrant energy and spontaneity. There was no turning going back to her wonderful acting future! Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on the 25th of February, 1975. Handler was the first child born in a large family. The parents of Handler were both householders. Her father was a used car seller. Her mother was the daughter of a German Immigrant, who immigrated to her home in United States in 1958. In 1989, she was diagnosed with cancer and died ten years later. Handler was raised Reform Judaism by her father, who was Jewish. Handler grew up in a good neighborhood and was a very happy child. When she was 19 and relocated from the city of her birth to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. To help support her family, Handler began to work as an actor. When she turned 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue the stand-up comic profession full-time, as she was able to discover her storytelling abilities. Handler started her career by becoming a member of the only female Oxygen group, who was a part of a television show known as Girls Behaving BADLY. The show was renowned for its secret camera and the practical joke. The series ran from 2002 until 2005. The handler began to appear on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a time as a reporter. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she hosted her own E! show. The show was named the Chelsea Handler Series. The show ran for a total of two seasons. Handler then performed in America on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcast her stand-up shows. In 2010 it was confirmed that she would host for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. This made her the second women in history, behind Roseanne Barr, to host the VMAs.
